Founded in 1993 by Michel DUCLOUX, USIDUC® quickly developed around the business of machining composite materials for the low and high voltage electrical insulation markets.
In 2001, the factory is taken over by Patricia and Dominique BALDUINI. The following year, the energy market experienced a turnaround which, coupled with the difficulties of its main customer, generated a sharp and significant drop in the company's activity.
Since then, Mr. BALDUINI has redirected the activity towards new markets (aeronautics, medical, thermal ...) in order to compensate the loss of sales revenues.
From the machining of perfume bottle caps made of polyester in 2014, to inconel-machined foundry parts for gas turbines in 2016 or currently for Krion® (Solid Surface), it was necessary to find at any time solutions to capture these niche markets and satisfy our customers.
In 2019, USIDUC® is taken over by a second generation: Xavier BALDUINI. More than ever, rigor and precision are essential to claim to develop. An ambitious investment plan was launched with the acquisition of 11 new production means including 7 machining centers, 3 robots and a new three-dimensional controller.
We reorganized the company to consolidate the production team, the quality and sales team. A substantial training plan for learning and development of the use of machining centers, robots and automated part control has been put in place.
In parallel, a designer in charge of innovation (development, monitoring and capitalization) was recruited to work on different issues: internal (production), external (commercial) and new market opportunities (product).
Here also, we want to perform beyond our goals of continuous improvement thanks to additive manufacturing.
